Our "Liner" water tanks have been designed by a registered professional engineer to comply with the relevant sections of the following Australian Standards: Southern Cross liner tanks comply with -
AS 4100 - Steel Structures Code
AS 1170 Pt 2 - Wind Loading Code
AS 1170 Pt 4 - Earthquake Loading Code
AS 3600 - Concrete Structures Code
AS/NZS 4680 - Hot Dip Galvanising Code
AS 1 657 - Ladders and Platform Code
Tanks can also be designed to suit the requirements of overseas codes when required.
"Liner" water tanks can be supplied to comply with the requirements for Water Storage Tanks for:
AS/NZS 3500.1.2 - National Plumbing & Drainage Code
Engineer's certification for individual tanks can be supplied when required. This certification covers design and manufacture only.
Where a certificate of compliance for the completed tank is required, this will have to be arranged and quoted for by the local branch or dealer.
Specification compliance: Where tanks are required to particular specifications, a copy of all documents relating to the tank design, materials etc. must be forwarded to the factory, so that suitable recommendations can be made.
Warranty
The tank liner is manufactured from material rated for the storage of potable water and has a minimum guaranteed life of 10 years when installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. All joins in the liner are welded to provide a joint with a strength equal to, or better than, that of the parent material.

WATER TANK LINERS MADE FROM TRAFAB*
Subject, and in addition to, the applicable provisions of the Trade Practices Act.
Your Bartlett tank liner is warranted against leakage due to inherent faults in the fabric and/or the welding thereof, for a period of ten years from the date of purchase provided that: —
The date of purchase can be established to be within the
ten year period.
The tank is covered at all times with a functional cover
fabricated from Heavy Duty Shade mesh or an equivalent
cover suitably acceptable to both Southcorp Industrial
Textiles and C. E. Bartlett.
The liner was properly installed with care and not otherwise
damaged.
The liner has not been abused mechanically.
The liner has not been removed from the original installation
and re-used.
The liner has only been used to store water or liquids that
both Southcorp Industrial Textiles and C. E. Bartlett have
approved.
The combined liability of Southcorp Industrial Textiles and C. E. Bartlett is not to exceed the value of the liner.
WARRANTY : Either side of TRAFAB™ may be exposed to the sun, however excessive temperatures, such as reflected or mirror effect 'sun burn', must be avoided. TRAFAB™ must not be exposed to chemicals or pesticides containing sulphur or halogen because they attack the UV stabilisers and reduce the life of the fabric. The black side has greater resistance to weathering.
Provided Southcorp Industrial Textiles is satisfied the original purchaser has complied with the above directions, and if TRAFAB™ fails under normal exposure conditions due to effects of sunlight within a period of 3 years from the date of original purchase, Southcorp Industrial Textiles will replace the fabric.
